Welcome to IslamicFamily. We are an Edmonton-based social services agency that provides spiritually and culturally sensitive services. How can we serve you?
Serve the community in a unique way!
IFSSA’s Board is entirely made up of highly skilled professionals who volunteer an extraordinary amount of time and effort contributing their expertise, guidance and leadership to growing the organization. Our board are the foundation of our organization: they dedicate their evenings and weekends to serving the community, and supporting families to flourish.
The Green Room Program Manager
We are in search of the next program manager to lead The Green Room, one of Edmonton’s most important youth spaces. The Green Room serves as a safe and welcoming space for youth to foster meaningful connections, personal growth and service to the community. We are looking for the right person to continue to nurture and care for our city’s youth!

New Office Hours
Our office hours have changed, to ensure the health and safety of our team and our clients. At this time, IFSSA will not be accepting any walk-in appointments. All appointments for food hampers and services must be scheduled beforehand. We are asking all clients who are feeling unwell to please refrain from leaving the home and call our office to arrange a new appointment time. If you have any questions about our health practices or would like more information about how IFSSA is keeping our community safe and healthy, please feel free to email us.
Our Organization's Move to a Central Hüb
Our organization has successfully transitioned to its new central hub, where the South Warehouse, The Green Room, and North Warehouse locations have been consolidated. This centralization aims to promote enhanced collaboration among our staff, improve accessibility, and create a warm and inviting space for both clients and the community. Our commitment to establishing a durable and sustainable foundation for this new environment reflects our dedication to ensuring its long-term success.
