Vision

Healthy Muslim Families and Community

Mission

To meet the basic physical and emotional needs of the community within an Islamic context.

Essential Needs

IFSSA’s food and clothing bank services are available free of charge to anyone in need and are completely confidential. If you or someone you know are in need of assistance in the form of food, clothing, or houshold items please contact the IFSSA office.

Our Essential Needs client service coordinator takes appointments to discuss and determine the needs of each client, to best support the client and their family.

Food Bank

IFSSA offers Halal Food Bank services to those in need. Halal is the Arabic word for permissible. In order for food to meet the this Islamic dietary criteria, meat products are slaughtered according to Islamic guidelines and food must be free of alcohol and pork products/by-products. IFSSA offers its foodbank to all those in need regardless of religious affiliation.

Clothing Bank

Clothing for men, women, and children are available but will vary by time of year. Appointments are not necessary to access the clothing bank.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: IFSSA is unable accept any donations of clothing and house hold items due to the shortage of space in our warehouse and securing good amounts of food supplies for distribution to needy families in Ramadan. We will resume accepting good clothing items after Ramadan
(August). May Allah (SWT) bless all of you for supporting IFSSA.
