IFSSA and MAC Youth Partner to Support Flood Releif Efforts in Pakistan

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and the Armed Forces of Pakistan with the help of several non profit organizations have joined hands in providing “LIFE BOXES” to the victims of the floods in Pakistan as there is a dire need for food and clean drinking water.

PIA has made a worldwide plea to help out in this effort and the airline is shipping these boxes from all over the world to Pakistan free of charge. The Armed Forces an…d NGO’s are distributing these boxes in the areas needing the most help.

The youth of Edmonton have joined hands to do our due deligence and help out in this dire time of need. We are participating in the making of these LIFE BOXES to send out.

Project 5000 has set a goal of sending out 5000 boxes and to mobilize the ENTIRE Edmonton Community to help put these boxes together.

Logistical matters are being dealt with effectively and efficiently and updates will be provided through this webpage on a regular basis. For questions and concerns, or feedback and suggestions please email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

Here is what you can do to help:

  • Donate a box for a family (approx. $50)
  • Donate food and basic items (see below form for items needed)
  • Volunteer to help make boxes
  • Help us spread the news by inviting your friends on this page and telling your family and friends about it

Let’s each do our part and help those in Pakistan who are suffering. Whether it’s purchasing a few more bags of chips or crackers when you go grocery shopping, volunteering your time to help make boxes, or donating for the cause – it will truly make a difference.

*Please fill out and encourage others to fill out the forms below so that we can meet our goal of 5000 boxes
